GUIDELINES FOR UPLOADING THE ACCEPTED PAPER PRESENTATIONS

The presentation must accurately reflect the contents of the submitted abstract.

Substantial deviations or failure to present may result in appropriate action by the Scientific Committee

Sources of borrowed material must be clearly labeled in the slides, including full citations for any copyrighted material.

Your paper presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint version 2010 or above

The preferred file format is MS-PowerPoint (*.ppt and *.pptx)

Presentations should not exceed a maximum of 16 slides, including title, conclusion, and references

File size should not exceed 20 MB

Patient confidentiality must be protected. Do not include names, hospital numbers, or any other identifying information in the presentation. Appropriate consent must be obtained

Use the uploaded title template for the title slide and the continuing template attached below these guidelines to create your presentation for upload

Use clear fonts such as Arial, Helvetica, Calibri, Verdana, or Times New Roman, and use high-quality images in all presentations. Illustrations, images, and photographs should be enlarged sufficiently to show relevant details

Use standard Windows fonts only. Try to avoid the use of non-standard Windows fonts or language-specific fonts

Your presentation must be saved as a single .pptx file with all supporting media (image) files embedded. In PPT, use Optimize Compatibility to embed your supporting media files
Your paper should include the following:
Title
Author list (maximum of 6 authors, including the presenting author)
Conference registration number
Detailed note with subheadings as:
Aims and objectives
Materials and methods
Results
Discussion
Conclusion
References -
Avoid copying and pasting images from other applications; use PowerPoint’s “Insert Picture” feature and insert images from files in JPG or PNG format

Presenters will not be allowed to use their own laptop. Loading of PowerPoint slides or other files directly to the computer in the session room from a flash/pen drive, CD-ROM, or other personal device will not be entertained

Changes in the presentation type, day, time assigned to your abstract cannot be made

Ensure there is no conflict of interest. By sending the slides, consent is given for uploading the material for learning purposes on the IRIA website

The final presentation date, time and hall details will be communicated separately after scheduling is complete

The duration of a proffered paper presentation is 6 minutes with an additional 2 minutes for discussion at the judges’ discretion

Competitive paper presentations will have duration of 8 minutes, with an additional 2 minutes for discussion at the judges’ discretion

- File size should not exceed 20 MB. It should be a single file
- Total no of slides should not exceed 16
- Use the shared template slides for completing the Power Point.
- You are provided with 2 template slides. Use the 1st template slide for Title (Title template slide), next continuing template slide for the remaining next 15 slides
